The City of Fargo has adopted an ordinance (#10-0103) making it illegal for persons under the age of 18 to sell, use or possess any tobacco product. Minors 14 years of age and older found to have violated this ordinance must pay a fee of $25 to the court and pay $25 to take the mandatory tobacco education program. Failure to comply is punishable as contempt of court.
